Wiradjuri Language and Culture Camp
Wonderful opportunity to learn
Eight Cowra High School Indigenous Students were fortunate to attend the second Wiradjuri Language and Culture Camp held at Borambola Sport and Recreation Centre in Wagga last week.
The camp, run by the NSW AECG, gave our students an opportunity to immerse themselves in Wiradjuri Culture by participating in a range of workshops including; Wiradjuri Language, Dance, Bush foods, Sites, Weapons and Tools, Weaving, Rope making and Storytelling.
Students gained many things from the camp and engaged maturely with session presenters. It was a tremendous opportunity and Cowra High School would like to thank the AECG for organising and funding the camp and activities.
