Have you ever wanted to tour Rome?  Experience a flight over the Antarctic?  This term at Cowra High School you can accomplish this and much more through the use of Virtual Reality.  We have secured a fully immersive virtual reality kit for the duration of Term 2.

This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase the technology that students will be interacting with in their lives after school and demonstrates that Cowra High School’s determination to expose students to the best possible learning opportunities.

“The VR headsets allow students to participate in a fully immersive learning experience.  So far students have enjoyed a tour of Rome as well as a number of three dimensional short films.”  Mr Le Page said.

The fully immersive kits have been tested in Year 12 Information Processes and Technology and have received rave reviews from students.

The kits will be set up for students to experience in the coming weeks and anyone who is interested in experiencing the future of immersive technology is encouraged to see Mr Le Page in the English staffroom.
