Mental Health Roadshow

Your Wellbeing is Key....

On Wednesday 8 May, Cowra High School was fortunate enough the host a Mental Health Road Shoe targeting Years 9 and 10 students.  This special presentation was brought to us by HeadSpace, Orange and the team from Marathon Health.  Guest speakers included:

• Chris Houston, former professional Rugby League player,
• Nic Newling, an advocate for mental health, suicide prevention and sharing personal stories
• A representative from CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services), Cowra,
• Dakoda from Ward Nutrition, Orange.

Each speaker addressed important areas of adolescents’ mental health and wellbeing. Students particularly enjoyed the Question and Answer session at the end of the day.
