Snap shot

Her face was cold as she leant against the car window. Not having the strength in her heart to chat, Siana reflected on the one who had passed. The person she loved, cared-for and grew up with her whole life. Her eyes were fixed at one position - but not looking at anything in particular (or anything at all). Siana’s eyes filled with water. All she could hear were the bad thoughts that ran through her head faster than a hamster on a hamster wheel.

Image Description

Jackson was always a spirited traveller, he loved the outdoors. So at the age of twenty two he got a job as an archaeologist and was out in the field almost every day. He also loved working overtime on projects. He loved it so he could be alone with the bones and the equipment. He was the only one in the family with outdoor taste. He loved everything about the outdoors. The smell of the air and the sound of everything, Jackson you could say, was a green thumb.

Morph Hook

“He’s almost ready!” A scientist shouted out to Dr. Vern, the head scientist. “Fantastic...” Vern replied. To his employees, Vern was very mysterious. The only thing they knew that his boss was Kerné Ricardo, the president of the NSF. He had recently been asked to create a new species. A morph. A humanoid creature with superpowers, including the ability to transform. This project was designed to benefit Kerné and his military in the war. Vern casually strolled to the store room to grab some things. While picking up a glass beaker, he also had the mind to grab his pistol, which he called the “Black Star”. Suddenly, the sound of gunfire and crashing came from the lab. Vern hurried to see the lab in chaos. Tables overturned, scientists lying on the ground, dead or dying. And on top of that, everything was... wet? And the test tube where the morph was being held... where was it? Then he saw where it was. The morph was using it to smash a wall, probably to escape. Vern raised his gun, and took aim at the creature. He fired the gun... but at nothing. The morph was gone. “I really don’t appreciate you trying to kill me.” The morph said. Then he continued, “The name’s Daniel Lanti. Aqua is my middle name, I prefer you to call me that.” This shocked Vern. How did he already know his name? Vern thought. “Aqua, please, stop.” Vern pleaded. This made Daniel think. “Why should I? What’s in it for me?” Daniel enquired. Vern was lost in thought for a couple of minutes. “Well? Where’s my answer, old man?” Daniel asked, getting impatient. Then Vern came up with an answer that took Daniel by surprise. “We are currently being invaded by aliens and the population is dropping. We need your help.” This was something that Daniel could not ignore. “Fine, I’ll help you, if you really need it.” Daniel said. This made Vern happy. “Good. You will be meeting with Sir Ricardo tomorrow afternoon.
