ASPIRANT LEADERS DAY

Across two days the student leaders ran leadership activities for 120 Grade 5 students from our surrounding Primary schools. The students capably spoke about their views on being a leader and facilitated a range of fun activities and goal setting sessions designed to build the understanding and skills of the younger students.

Although we work with these students every day, it is always amazing to see them actually running events such as this one. Year 12 students working side by side with our junior students and each giving the other support, motivation and positive feedback. It was a pleasure to sit back and observe these students at work in a totally different way. Ms Lombardi, Mr Givogue and Mrs Claringbold would like to sincerely thank every leader who took time to come and be part of this program. Your efforts were appreciated by both the teachers and the Year 5 students and you were fantastic ambassadors for our College.

Our leaders have also been involved in speaking at the Parent information evenings for prospective students and a number of them have also been a student voice on College tours with the Principal team.
