Year 6 Science Fair
Last Monday, Year 6 went down to Oxford falls and shared their science exhibitions with each other and then with their parents. It was very impressive- not just the final product where most of the work was done at school but the amount of learning that occurred in the build up. English skills and research skills were involved. While it was time consuming, the boys learnt about learning. It was a good example of enquiry learning. The teachers were very pleased although they were attributing some grey hairs to this process! I learnt a lot about various eruptions in nature and underwater crop circles. It was fascinating.
Thankyou to the boys and teachers for all the work and to the parents who were able to attend. Well done boys.
