The two courses continue to be successfully run onsite at the College with positive feedback being received from students and parents/carers. The courses are run by our external provider and experienced occupational therapist, Anna Orchard who will offer these courses which are open to all students who wish to develop and improve these vital skills.

The programs will run over 8 consecutive weeks (70 minutes per session) in Term 4, from Week 2 (week beginning 17th October) up to and incl. Week 9 (week beginning 5 December) with students able to attend makeup sessions through the 8 week term if required for illness or other reason.

Interested parents and carers should direct an expression of interest and any queries to Anna, at anna.louise.orchard@gmail.com , and/or Ms Raheb-Mol, LSE Coordinator, via email: JRahebMol@stpiusx.nsw.edu.au. Be sure to include your son’s full name and year, the preferred course from the above, and the preferred day (or days) of the week for your son to attend at the selected course(s). Anna Orchard will then contact you with further information including the registration and enrolment forms upon receipt of your expression of interest.  Numbers are limited in both courses, and places are expected to fill quite quickly. It will be a case of first in, first served!

Thank You and Best Wishes to Mrs Leonardi

A big thank you and our very best wishes go to Mrs Leonardi who is going on long service leave for the remainder of 2016. This break is well-deserved, and the Learning Support program at SPX has benefitted greatly from Mrs Leonardi’s expertise in literacy and numeracy in Stage 4 and 5 curriculum. We will miss you, and we look forward to your return in Term 1, 2017.
