Safe Online Gaming Workshop

On Thursday March the 7th, the Madeline & Allanah foundation ran a workshop in partnership with the Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation. This workshop covered many common concerns that have been raised regarding online gaming including loot boxes and cyberbullying. Loot boxes are in-game prizes that are randomly generated after a purchaser pays a certain amount of money. Parents were provided with many resources and strategies which can help them make decisions on the types of games their children are playing and also what to do if their child is cyberbullied.
