Breakfast Club
Breakfast Club runs every Tuesday and Thursday from 8am until 8.40am. We have had quite a large turn out each morning which is great to see. We have a great selection of food available for all students.
We will be running a special breakfast club on Thursday 6th of June so students should keep their eye out on Compass for details.
A big thank you to the staff who help support breakfast club and also to AVOCARE and Kellegos who donate food and goods to help us keep it going.
All students and staff are welcome to attend Breakfast Club and with the cold mornings, it is a nice warm place to be.
City of Casey youth counselling
Our Youth Counselling and Support team offer a free, confidential counselling service for young people aged 10 to 25. We give young people someone to talk to when things are difficult to manage.
We also support parents and carers of young people who are experiencing difficulties or concerned about their child's mental wellbeing.
Services we offer
- Individual counselling: for young people 13-25 years old who live, work, study or have a significant connection to Casey.
- Parent assisted therapy: for children 10-12 years old, where parents will be actively involved in the counselling process and implementing strategies at home.
- Support for parents or carers of 10-25 year olds: up to 3 sessions of support with the aim of providing mental health information, communication strategies with t(w)eens and refining existing parenting skills.
All services are confidential and offered free, without the need for a mental health care plan. We need parental consent for anyone under the age of 13 before they can begin receiving services.

L2P driving program
The L2P learner driver mentor program is a joint partnership between the City of Casey and VicRoads. The program assists young learner drivers under 21 years of age, who don't have access to a supervising driver or vehicle, gain enough driving experience to apply for their probationary licence.
You will be matched with fully licensed mentor and have access to a vehicle, which you can use to get your 120 hours of supervised driving experience.
The L2P program is free for eligible young people and is funded by the Transport Accident Commission. The success of Casey’s L2P Program has been made possible due to the ongoing support from Berwick Motor Group who supplied two fully maintained vehicles used for the program.
Eligibility
To be eligible, you must:
- live in the City of Casey
- be between 16 and 20 years old
- hold a current Victorian learner's permit
- not have access to a supervising driver or vehicle
- be financially disadvantaged (for example: you, or your parents/carers, receive Centrelink payments)
