FIRST EUCHARIST

We continue to pray for the children who are preparing for the celebration of their First Eucharist, and thank their teachers and catechists who share their time, talent and faith.

FINBAR’S FASHIONABLE  FUNDRAISER

We are excited to announce that our parish is hosting a wonderful luncheon and afternoon of Fashion, Fun, Fabulousness and Friendship with the inaugural

FINBAR’S FASHIONABLE FUNDRAISER

on Sunday 14th October.  With the objective to raise much-needed funds for the parish, we have enormous Faith that our wonderful parishioners will assist in whatever way you can, either as a volunteer or a sponsor.

The afternoon includes a delicious grazing menu and beverages, a Runway showcase of some of Melbourne’s finest Fashion Designers presenting their stunning Spring/Summer Collections (male and female), including a special Kids Fashion Show.   A panel of extraordinary Stylists and Beauty Experts will demonstrate and share their secrets, tips and tricks on the Ultimate Guide to dressing for Spring Racing Carnival.    Mini Market stalls featuring local artisans will be available for browsing, sighing and buying.    Silent Auctions, Raffles, Table Prizes, and of course the much coveted GOODIE BAG will be highlights of the day.

HOW CAN I BE INVOLVED:

Some of the ways you can help:

  • Sponsoring the printing of the guest booklet
  • Sponsoring the beverage costs
  • Sponsoring or assisting with the Floral Table centres (which then becomes a raffle item)
  • Providing items for the Silent Auction or Raffle. Suggestions include artwork, jewelry, spa package, beauty package, wine package, pet products, kids party package, hotel accommodation, health & fitness membership, restaurant or café voucher…..
  • Providing items for the Goodie Bag. Suggestions include jewelry item, make-up or beauty product, magazine, soap, candle, movie tickets, food or drink item
  • Setting up, packing up, filling goodie bags, assisting with back-of-house
  • Becoming a Table Captain – sign up a table of 10 and receive a special gift
  • Promoting the event to friends, contacts, family
