BSC Mini Olympics

On Wednesday 4th July, BSC held the Mini Olympics in the school Gymnasium, with all students having the opportunity to compete and earn points for their House.

The afternoon's events started with a relay, involving all students takings turns to run as many laps as possible in 5 minutes, with one point being awarded per lap.

Next up was the Hula Hoop challenge. Each team was required to link hands and form a circle. They then had to move a Hula Hoop around the circle as many times as possible without breaking the link.

Finally, the last contest of the day was a tug-of -war, with each team fighting it out until we had a winner. While Wandarra won the tug-of-war competition, it was Tanaranga who came away the overall winners on the day, walking away with the Gold Medal. In Silver Medal position was Wandarra, while Taltarni scored the Bronze.

Congratulations to all teams and well done to all students for their fantastic efforts. It was an enjoyable afternoon with lots fun and laughter all round.

Special thanks to Blake Fulford who volunteered as our photographer on the day.
