Interschool Athletics and Cross Country Updates

BSC were fortunate to have a number of students competing across various age groups at the Eureka District Cross Country, held on May 10th at Ballarat High School. Notable achievements on the day were;

Under 13 Girls Ella Kerr 3rd Place

Under 14 Boys Tom Lyons 1st Place

Under 18 Boys Mitchell Pesti 2nd Place

                              Liam McLinden 3rd Place

                              Jack Peacock 4th Place

The next stage was the Greater Western Region Cross Country which was held in Warrnambool on the 15th July. Our two main achievers were Tom Lyons, who came 1st in the Under 14 Boy's age group and Ella Kerr, for the Under 13 Girls age group, who ran a personal best time but unfortunately did not place.

We would like to thank the parents who took the time to transport students to and from the venue.

Meanwhile in Eureka District Athletics, which took place at Llanberris Athletics Reserve on the 30th April, two of our students performed particularly well, coming away as Age Group Champions. Tom Lyons and Jack Peacock (pictured) should be incredibly proud of their achievement.
