Principal's Report

Principal's Report:

After ten solid weeks, we have arrived at the last week of term. It has been a term packed with events, excursions and learning opportunities. Reports are now finalised and will soon be published on Compass.

Members of the staff leadership team have been meeting weekly with the Junior SRC, and we have put a number of things in place for students. It has been great to work with the SRC students, who are highly motivated to improve the physical and learning environment at the college.

This examination period has ended, with all running well, as did the Work Experience week for our VCAL students.

Next Friday we will hold our final whole school assembly in Westside.  Parents are always welcome to attend our Whole School assemblies.

Japanese Exchange

As I pointed out in the last three newsletters,  we have our visitors from Japan arriving in July. We are looking for families to host students. The students are billeted in pairs. If you would like to be involved in this rewarding program, please contact me at school. The visitors arrive on Friday the 27th of July (approx. 6 pm) and leave on Wednesday the 1st of August (approx. 8 am).

I hope that you all have a safe and happy mid-year break and return re-energised and ready to learn.
