Stage 3

What a challenging year we have all had! Stage 3 had some great highlights while learning at school and from home. Year 6 students started the year celebrating the beginning of their final year of primary school by receiving their commemorative Year 6 hat. 

We celebrated Harmony Day and loved the opportunity to make a huge paper chain with all classes in the school to celebrate our diversity at Leumeah Public School. 

We really enjoyed the basketball program in Term 2. All students had fun learning new skills and being able to use those skills with the new basketball rings on the quad. 

We enjoyed learning how to engage with our class and teacher using zoom during remote learning. This helped many of with our wellbeing as for most of us, this was the only chance we got to see and interact with our classmates. This has helped us coming back to school in term 4 as we have been preparing our year 6 student for high school through zoom transition sessions. Most of all we have loved being able to come back together with our friends.
