AUTUMN – SEASONAL PRODUCE

As the last days of Summer slowly approach, it’s time to start thinking about the gorgeous comfort foods that Autumn provides us with. Fruit and vegetables purchased during the local growing season are generally more affordable and at best eating quality.

 

The beauty of Autumn brings an abundance of fruits including: figs, grapes, valencia oranges, melons, apples, nectarines, olives, blueberries, watermelon, persimmons, plums and tamarillos.

 

A range of vegetables include: beans, brussels sprouts, corn, eggplant, sweet potatoes, celery, cabbage, cauliflower, zucchini, beetroot and leeks.
