NEW MATHS STAFF FOR 2022
The Mathematics Department is delighted to welcome Crystal Li, Carly Moore, Zoe Murdoch, Riley Price, Simon Shen and Jennifer Wallace to McKinnon Secondary College. It’s exciting to see the Department continuing to grow and to be augmented with young and dynamic teachers.
Crystal Li
“Hi everyone, my name is Crystal and I am very excited to join McKinnon Secondary College and the McKinnon community. I have completed my double degrees in Secondary Education (Honors) and Science at Monash University, with a major in Mathematics. I will be teaching Year 9 Maths and Science this year at the East Campus. It is an absolute honour for me to work at the brand new campus.
I am grateful for having supportive colleagues around me and I can’t wait to embark on this exhilarating journey with everyone. I hope this year will be a fantastic year for all of us!”
Carly Moore
"Hi everyone, my name is Carly Moore and I am so excited to begin my teaching journey in VIC at McKinnon SC after moving here from Sydney! My teaching methods are PE and Maths. I am so looking forward to meeting you all and working at such a fantastic school with a great team!
I also feel incredibly lucky to be working at our new East Campus with incredible facilities!"
Zoe Murdoch
“Hi everyone my name is Zoe Murdoch, I have just started my teaching journey after working in orthopaedic research and completing my Masters in Teaching. I feel incredibly blessed and excited to be working at McKinnon Secondary College and to be surrounded by so many wonderful people. This year I will be teaching Year 8 Maths, as well as working with the Integration Team.

Riley Price
"Hi everyone, my name is Riley Price and I am very much looking forward to teaching at McKinnon Secondary. I have recently graduated from Monash University, where I completed a Bachelor of Education (Honors). As well as mathematics, my interests are biology and economics. This year I am working on the new East Campus where I will be teaching mathematics to Years 8 and 9 students, as well as Wisdom and Service.

Simon Shen
“Hi everyone, my name is Simon Shen, a former structural engineer with several years of work experience in the building design and construction industry. I am really excited to join the team in McKinnon Secondary College and I am taking the subjects of Introduction to Engineering and Years 10 & 11 Maths Methods this year. I enjoy making connections between the content and daily life to make students aware that what they are learning is useful in solving everyday problems.

Jennifer Wallace
Hello everyone, my name is Jennifer Wallace and I have been teaching Science at Wellington Secondary College for the past 18 months. I’m delighted to join McKinnon Secondary College teaching Science and Maths.
I hope to encourage and inspire students in these important subjects. I look forward to working with all my colleagues in my subject areas and other disciplines as well."
