Level 3 Update

Students in Level 3 had an absolutely amazing time visiting Team Kids on Wednesday. There was a huge selection of fun, engaging activities to facilitate social interaction among all.  This was also a perfect opportunity to model lots of behaviours on our School Wide Positive Behaviour Matrix.  We can’t wait to visit again!!

Level 4 Update

The students all returned to full-time schooling after a long weekend last week. It was great to get back to some normality, after such a long time.

This week in Numeracy we are focusing on developing our strategies to complete multiplication equations and worded problems. We have been engaging in a variety of open-ended, hands-on learning tasks. Students have also enjoyed participating in a lesson sequence linked to basketball.

We continue to write explanation texts and look at Dreamtime stories in literacy.

Students and teachers are excited to get out into the community for our 2 “camp replacement” excursions which are planned for the first weeks of December.
