My Peter Pan Experience

There are many things that I have valued as part of this experience, like getting to work with different people from a range of different grades and with different interests.

From the first rehearsal up until now, being only days before we go on stage, there has been massive improvements and various ways of embracing and developing these characters. Although having to tackle many complications, we have managed to overcome and continue working towards this massive achievement and goal.

It has been such great fun and other than some minor issues from things like people being away and not understanding the concept of the story, it really has been an incredible experience. I am so grateful for the opportunity to create and share such memories, to have a chance to perform for the wider community and be given the opportunity to showcase our talents and dreams.

I am ever so grateful to Miss Stringer for her time and effort she has put into the production. I would also like to congratulate all of the cast. I can't wait to put on a show to remember!

We really hope you’ll come along and enjoy our performance.

Wellbeing Walk for Mental Health

If you've been for a walk around the lake recently you may have noticed the inspiring messages of hope and positivity that decorate the footpath. These were created by the staff and students of Edenhope College, as they donned their comfy clothes and walked the lake to raise money and awareness for mental health. It was wonderful to see everyone smiling and chatting, getting out in the fresh air and stretching their legs. A great reminder of how easy it is to lift our mood with a bit of exercise and a chat with a friend. The Zooper Doopers handed out by Mr McClure at the end of the walk probably helped too!

All proceeds raised on the day were donated to the Mental Health Foundation Australia. Their website is well worth a visit:

Year 7 2022 Transition

Over the last few weeks we are very grateful to have had the opportunity for the students at Edenhope College, St. Malachy’s and Casterton to participate in the Transition program for students in Year 7 at Edenhope College in 2022.

The first Transition morning students delighted in creating their unique newspaper outfit and solving puzzles. The second Transition morning students displayed their culinary skills in the Food Technology Room and made Ham and Cheese Scrolls using the rubbing in technique.

On Tuesday, students participated in the whole day Transition program in the Stadium where students were able to develop their relationships with their peers and work collaboratively, ready for Year 7 in 2022.

Thank you to all the parents, students and staff who attended the Parent information evening. If any parents/caregivers have any questions regarding their child transitioning into Year 7 at Edenhope College in 2022, please contact me at the college.
