Year 12 Graduation

Oh what a night! Easing of restrictions allowed GSSC to go ahead with its biggest gathering in some months - helping to ensure our Year 12 students enjoyed the send-off they deserve.  Students were presented with their Year 12 certificates in the Visy Centre at Wanganui Campus,  along with many words of wisdom from their peers (captains Ben Okely and Caitlyn Glasson), their educators (Barbara O'Brien, "Dougie" Souter and Ken Murray), School Council president Tanya McKenzie-Sleeth and the Committee for Greater Shepparton's Sam Birrell. 

The students were remembered as the last to graduate from Wanganui and McGuire campuses, were reminded of the strength and self-reliance they have developed from the challenges of COVID-19 and were advised to enjoy and make the most of all the adventures that await them. There were many highlights to the night including a student-led standing ovation for parents and carers and a dance performance before the Class of '21 headed off to dinner at Eastbank.
