Good Bye

We wish Christine Sharp our dedicated cleaner for a massive 14 years all the best with her new adventures.  You will be sadly missed and we love the art piece you donated to our sick bay so we always remember you. We will miss you!!

Medication

If a student requires medication to be administered at school please fill out the attached form which can also be found on Sentral Forms or you can grab a copy from the office. Medication is required to be stored in the Sick Bay/Office. 

Note: There are separate forms for Asthma and Allergies which are also attached.

OnSite QR Code

A friendly reminder for parents: Mandated check in using QR codes 

Families will be aware the use of Service Victoria QR codes for electronic record keeping is mandatory for all workplaces to enable the effective contact tracing of any COVID-19 cases. 

At SPS QR codes must be used by:

* all parents who enter school buildings when on the school site. If you are required to enter buildings on school grounds, for whatever purpose, you must use the provided QR code check-in at the front office.  

* all  visitors, including contractors, external Department staff and building and maintenance staff

*Visitors and parents must observe community face mask requirements when on school sites.

*QR code check ins will not be required for parents who come onto school grounds for drop off or pick up, but do not enter buildings.

2022 Contributions

Last week all individual contribution sheets were handed out to students, please check school bags or ask your child if you have not received yours. I have attached one below if required. Any questions regarding this please feel free to contact us in the office.

2022 Book List

You should've received a paper copy of the booklist for next year by now. If you have not yet received it we have spare copies in the office or they are uploaded on Sentral under resources. Below is the instructions for Online ordering through Paperchase Office National, if ordered by 13th December 2021they will guarantee delivery to the school before the start of Term 1 2022. Fee Schedules will be out next week also.

Sun Hats

We are officially into Spring therefore hats are compulsory when in the sun from now till the end of the year. 

Water Taps

We encourage ALL students to bring their own water bottle for use at school, as students should not drink directly from school taps at this time, Thanks.

Excursion Contact Tracing

Due to the current public health directives all venues are required to keep records of all who attend their site for Contact Tracing purposes.  DET have advise us that under these guidelines we must provide these venues with the Schools Staff and Students full name and a contact phone number from our onsite records. These records are only accessed if there needs to be contact tracing.

Head Lice

We have had a few head lice cases over the last month, just a reminder if you have long hair it is recommended to tie it up and please do regular checks on your hair, Thanks.

The School Yard is supervised from 8:45am in the morning and until 3:30pm, please make sure you adhere to these drop off and pick up times to ensure the safety of your children.

Year 7 Transition

Attendance

Any unexplained absences, you can either update this through Sentral:

• Click on The Sentral App
• Click on Absences Icon
• Click on the + symbol at the top right corner
• Select Student, reason, put in dates absent and any additional comments
• Press Submit.

 or let us know at the office the reason for your child's absence.

2nd Hand Uniform

Please feel free to look at our 2nd hand uniform, ask in the office and we can get the correct Size tubs out for you to look through.  All clothes sold for a gold coin donation.
