Dear Parents and Carers

Dear Parents and Carers,

The P&F committee held it’s final meeting last week and it was so lovely to be together again and to have our ‘Christmas Meeting’ back on-site.

Although many events have been cancelled this year we were still able to achieve many positives and bring joy and hope to our community.

We were able to support our wonderful Year 12 boys by sending then a care package of a block of chocolate and a canteen voucher. Both of these were greatly appreciated.

Also for our Year 12’s the P&F gifted them with a tie pin and key ring for their Graduation as a remembrance of their time at St Bede’s. I wish to congratulate our boys and urge them to celebrate the fine young men they have become and for them to look confidently towards their future that shines so brightly ahead.

The P&F have also provided major financial support for the digital signage at Bentleigh East and the scoreboard at Mentone.

We finished the year with gifting our Year 11’s with a goody bag of freckles, a drink, bouncy balls and chips to welcome them during Flying Start.

I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge our Principal Mr John Finn who is leaving St Bede’s at the end of this year. I personally thank him for his guidance, generosity of spirit, strength and leadership and we the P&F wish him the very best.

Finally, I would like to extend an invitation to all the St Bede’s community to consider joining our wonderful committee. You are welcome to attend a meeting or two and help build relationships across our two campuses. It is such a wonderful opportunity to be part of a very special journey with your son and other parents.
