Electrical Apprenticeship

Active Energy Group is currently looking to employ a first year electrical apprentice. They are a family owned solar company that install quality solar systems all over Victoria.

The ideal candidate would have previous work experience in the electrical field.

Must be an excellent communicator, team player, professional, reliable, with a driver’s licence. Great working conditions and excellent learning opportunities.

Solar installations are not for the faint hearted so an excellent work ethic will be required.

 

The position is located in Kyabram but will require working away from home at times.

Scholarships

2022 Lift Off Education Scholarships

Applications opened: Tuesday 12th October, 2021 at 9am

Applications close: Friday 17th December, 2021 at 5pm

 

Scholarships are awarded to Goulburn Valley school leavers primarily aged 17 to 24 years for approved higher education courses including Diplomas and Bachelor programs. Applications for Post Graduate studies and from students who have taken a gap year are welcome.

 

Students who have attended secondary schooling in Kyabram, Nathalia, Numurkah, Cobram, Mooroopna, Shepparton, Euroa and Rushworth can apply. To find out more about the scholarships and the application process go to Lift Off Education Scholarships General Information Flyer

Year 12 Students & Rural Chances Vocational Scholarships 2022

 

Youthrive Rural Chances offers young people the chance to support their vocational training with scholarships for TAFE study or apprenticeships. 

 

Rural Chances scholarships can assist young people who:

· have to travel long distances or move away from home to gain qualifications

· struggle with the many expenses associated with training or building skills

· can see a skills gap in rural Victoria they can fill

· and would enjoy mentoring and networking opportunities

 

There are 10 scholarships valued at $5000 to assist with long distance travel or moving out of home. Additionally there are 10 more scholarships for up to $2000, to cover specific items to support training. The 2022 Rural Chances Scholarship applications are NOW OPEN and CLOSE 25th October 2021. Applications can be submitted as either an easy online form or video.
