Talklink
A website that helps clients connect to a psych/counsellor. It’s very user friendly (particularly for those that use social media and other apps that connect people). You can click on what you want to talk about (i.e. ‘depression’, ‘anxiety’, ‘addiction’, ‘relationships’) and find someone who specialises in this. You can see the psych/counsellor’s name, photo, a bit about them, where they’re located, how much they charge, and how long the wait will be. You can even ask the psych/counsellor to contact you!
Young people can request a text, if they don’t feel comfortable talking on the phone.
