Fringe Festival performance

Have you heard the one about......

Year 10 student Vincent Meyrick spent last week at the Adelaide Fringe Festival performing a stand up comedy routine as part of the 2019 ‘Next Generation’ show.

He wrote all his own material, performed it, and contributed to the marketing of the production - appearing on Adelaide radio.  Aged only 15, he has been doing professional stand up for two years now.  He is the youngest participant in the Melbourne Comedy Festival ever (at 13) and has appeared in that Festival twice.  This year in Adelaide, however, he did a “10 minute set”, which is an adult-length set, pitched at an adult level.  As part of this, he had to ‘host’ a night himself, where he was also responsible for introducing the other comedians. Well done Vincent and congratulations.
