Flourish
The idea of developing a group for girls stemmed from the Positive Education days we had in 2014. It was on these days we watched girls of all ages interact with one another and develop new friendships.
Flourish has been started up for the purpose of bringing girls from Year 9 - 12 together and providing an opportunity for older students to interact with younger students and vice versa. We hope the girls will be able to take away from this a sense of community and know that they are fearfully and wonderfully made.
For us it means having the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of each senior girl here at BHCS and begin a journey of discipleship.

Year 12 students
‘Flourish’ will be run once a fortnight during Term 2 by our VCE students. We’re looking forward to being able to provide our senior girls with an opportunity for them to grow and develop in confidence while discussing everyday issues. Attendance at Flourish is completely voluntary.
Sessions will run as follows, in Nick's space:
- 30th April
- 14th May
- 28th May
- 11th June
Carpark and Footpaths
Improvements have been planned for footpaths along Wattle Valley Road and through the upper carpark leading into the school grounds at Junior School. A pedestrian crossing will also be created at this time to link to the footpath near the TTC.
We are hoping that the promised Yarra Ranges Council footpath works from Marama Rd to the School will be constructed soon to link to our planned improvements. These works will improve the safety for anyone who walks to and from school.
Parents of Year 10 Students
Year 10 students should now be finalising their work experience placements. All forms are due back by May 22nd.
Unfortunately due to certain regulations the forms cannot be accepted after this date.
This is a very exciting time for our Year 10's and I look forward to supporting them through this venture.
