Costume Theme: Who Am I?
Ideas
Characters from movies, TV shows, celebrities, sports, musicians, gaming, etc. (Remember: regular school dress codes still apply!)
For workshops we need donations of:
Odd socks and gloves (to be turned into puppets), old utensils, watches, clocks, computer parts, tin from soft drink cans, plastic, unwanted jewellery, old game board pieces
(i.e. Scrabble), small keys, buttons, ribbon, scraps of material, any unwanted clothing or material including t-shirts (to be cut up),
glass jars with lids, socks, scrapbooking papers and supplies, and scrap metal.
If you could help us out with these donations by having them sorted in bags or boxes and deliver them to the art rooms it would be greatly appreciated!
Don't forget to return your Mega Banana Split envelopes with payment by next Wednesday, April 29.
Mothers Day Stall
Save the date - Friday, May 8. The School will be holding a Mother's Day Stall for all Junior School Students to buy gifts for their mum. Prices will range from 50c to $10.
Calling all BHCS AFL Fans
Join us at the MCG on Saturday, 16th May 2.10pm as the Hawthorn vs. Melbourne.
BHCS Special discounted Tickets are
Adults $10, Children $5
We only have 40 tickets available, and will be allocated to the first 40 paying applicants.
Bring your money to the office in a clearly marked envelope with:
Your name, eldest child’s name & class and number of tickets required.
Open Day
Open Day is coming up soon on Saturday, May
23, and we are in need of volunteers! Teachers
will soon be asking for students to attend on
this day to help the school feel 'at work'. More
information about this is coming soon.
We would also love some parent helpers to
make cuppas, cook a BBQ, and chat to visiting
families. If you are able to assist, we'd love to

Where: BHCS Trade Training Centre
Date: Friday, June 12
Time: 7pm
Bring: Nibbles, drinks, enthusiasm, and someone with lots of knowledge
Cost: $10
There will also be silent auctions available to bid on throughout the night.
Organise a table of 8 to 10, or we can include you in one.
