Healthy Kids Learn Better

Dear Parents/Guardians,

The health centre would like to assure student the monthly cycle women experience is a wonderful thing our bodies goes through every month, which allow us to bear children.

We have had young female students who may experienced there first menstrual cycle at school.

I have found a link which takes you to some information our young girls may be interested in reading or for mothers to read and discuss with their daughters.

Please encourage your daughters to inform themselves about the process and what the body is going through. Knowledge is power, we should empower all our daughters to take charge of their bodies.

DOCUMENTATION

  • DOCUMENTATION - It is of utmost importance that our school is provided with up to date information. Documentation that is required has been sent to the relevant families, most recently via email. Please complete and return to the Health Centre as soon as possible.

MEDICATION

  • MEDICATION - Occasionally, students require medication while they are at school. In order to administer medication to students a Medication Authority form needs to be completed with a parent’s signature. Medications are to be provided to the school in original packaging with pharmacy labels intact. Tablet sleeves need to have the full name of the medication and expiry date intact.

AMBULANCE COVER

  • AMBULANCE COVER - A reminder, in the event of an emergency, either by accident / injury or illness, the college will call an ambulance. Please ensure your child is covered by ambulance cover if you do not have a Health Care Card. The costs incurred for an ambulance will be the responsibility of the respective parents/guardians.
  •

COVID 19

Please be vigilant with COVID 19 sign & symptoms, if your child is unwell do not send them to school until the symptoms have resolved.

We need to keep each other safe so life can return to some sort of normality.

Many thanks,

The Health Centre Team
