Tennis

Year 7 tennis saw our teams play some great matches against all the other schools. The girls won several matches and represented the school well. The boys went through undefeated as a team, showing the bigger schools a thing or two.

Bowls

We had two lawn bowls teams play off in the LMR bowls and both played some fantastic bowls. The junior team tipped just at the end to miss out on going to state. The senior team making it through to the state finals. Our senior team consisting of Joshua Cartwright, Hayley Hancock and Jorja Ponton played off in the state finals making it to the final game, leading the game by five at one stage.  It come down to a final end and it seemed nothing was going to separate the teams. On the final bowl Joshua managed to sneak a bowl in between the opponent's bowls, sneaking a narrow victory. Well done to our State champions! Well deserved win by three great bowlers. A special thanks to the Cartwright family who drove and coached the teams for these events.

Golf

Well done Kayne Crompton and Jacob Cartwright on competing in the LMR golf tournament. Both players played a brilliant game with Kayne finishing 6th in his division and Jacob 3rd. Jacob made it through to the state finals finishing 35th. What a great effort by all.

Soccer

We had two senior soccer teams play in the Campaspe senior soccer. This was a great day out with lots of fun had by all. Well done to the girls, who despite not scoring for the day, had a ball. The boys who went through undefeated for the day only missed out on going through to the next level by points. The highlight of the day was stopping at Maccas and Mr Tan buying everyone chips.

Badminton

Our senior Girls made it through to LMR badminton, almost getting through to state finals after going down in a very close game to a much larger Bendigo school. Well done Jade and Alyssa Christou, Nicole Doherty, Bea Esperon and Kayla Speed on a great effort.

Cross Country

Fifteen students competed in the Campaspe cross country with five students making it through to regionals, which will be held next week over at St Arnauds.  Well done Alyssa Braithwaite, Kade Drew, Jack Forde, David Panawidan and Cooper Rodriquez on making it through to the next stage.
