NEW SCHOLASTIC BOOK CLUB

The latest issue of the Scholastic Book Club is out now! If you wish to place an order, please make sure you have it in by Thursday 8 June. If you have any questions regarding anything ‘book club’, The library is more than happy to assist you.  

THE LIBRARY GENRE SYSTEM 

While our college library follows the Dewey System, we have also chosen to implement a genre category system throughout. This option provides students and staff with an additional way to browse and locate books. This process has meant that library staff have gone through each book resource within the library and categorised it into a set genre within the Dewey numbers. Over the past year, this extensive process has been underway and going on behind the scenes, on top of usual library services. The final stage of this process was just completed, with the senior fiction now complete! Yay!! Students and staff can now enjoy another level of borrowing, and if you haven’t already, please pay a visit to the library and check out our new genres!! We are super proud of them. 😉
