P&F Term 2 Forum

Many thanks to all parents who attended our Term 2 Forum. A big thanks to Mrs O for providing such an informative overview of the Leader in Me program. PPT and recording of her session will be sent with class parent updates this weekend.

We hope you enjoyed the update on the plans for our playground redevelopment. Watch this space for activity commencing soon to get this project off the ground.

As always we'd love any feedback on other matters you'd like to hear about or ways to improve our Forums. And we are always available to discuss anything you might need: holyfamilylindfieldpf@gmail.com

Our Green Team Needs You

Our student-led Green Team has put some very exciting plans in place for new earth-friendly initiatives. But we need some adults to help them come to life!

If you have an hour or two in a month to come and help our Green Team, please contact the school office or P&F with your details. Grandparents, aunties, uncles or other family friends are welcome!

47th Lindfield Art Show & Fair

Planning for our 47th Lindfield Art Show and Fair has officially begun with more than 100 artists invited to exhibit. We are excited to say we already have several artists locked in for the event.

We also have a number of local businesses lining up to support our event and we are looking forward to broadening our community involvement for the event this year.

The success of this event comes down to the enthusiasm and support of our planning team and we would love to have 2-3 more people involved. If you have a background in events, marketing, catering/party planning  - your skills are of particular interest. But honestly, the workload is not complex, it just needs a group of people happy to chip in and help with getting things planned. Please contact the office or the P&F team if you are interested: holyfamilylindfieldpf@gmail.com

Volunteers

If everyone at school was able to put their hand up to help with one thing we’d get so much done together! Our plans are not complex, but they do require the help of our school community to make sure they are a success. There are a range of things to get involved in, and different ways you can help. We’d love to build a team of parents and carers to help plan and coordinate our initiatives and events for the year.

“Volunteering at Holy Family has been so rewarding for me. I was able to get involved in things that worked with my own schedule and that I was interested in. The delight on my kids faces at seeing me at school, the opportunity to meet other parents, and knowing everyone had a great time was incredibly fulfilling.” – Year 5 parent.

If you’re happy to help, sign up to our volunteer register click on the button below and Carolina will be in touch in the coming weeks to talk about what help is needed, where, and when. If you want to have a quick chat to get a better sense of the types of things parents can get involved in don’t hesitate to reach out to Carolina for a chat.
