Dear Parents/Guardians,

It has been lovely getting to meet some of you in person at Mass and also last night at the P & F meeting last night. Please see a compass note from me yesterday and I warmly invite you to look at some of the Parish events and commentaries in the Parish bulletin. The school and Parish are actually linked in the one community of Holy Family .

What's new? While many of our community are not Catholic, some of you may be interested in becoming a Catholic or even just have some questions about the Catholic faith. Please email if this is you as the Parish are starting their Rite of Christian Initiation programme very soon which is the process you undertake to become a Catholic. If your child is at the school, it is a lovely thing to go on a faith journey with them. Right now, Riley X from Year 5 and his parents Leo and Di are all becoming Catholic. We pray for them in this journey.  

I enjoyed being present at the Mass where parents of our community last week were committing their children to the Sacrament of Confirmation. The feast of Pentecost this weekend is when we remember the Holy Spirit first descending on the heads of the disciples as tongues of fire . Did you know that it is also officially the end of the Easter season?! We tend to think of Easter as one day in the year but as Christians, we celebrate it as 50 days from Easter Sunday.
