Prayer

Loving God,

We come together in prayer this morning to pray in solidarity for the victims who have recently lived through the destruction of Cyclone Mocha.

We pray for the millions of people in Rakhine, Myanmar and the refugee camp in Bangladesh. The cyclone is the strongest storm to hit the region this century.

Gracious God,

lay your healing hands over the families of victims so that they can feel your caring presence.

Embrace the millions of people who have had damage to their homes and temporary living spaces, so that the help they need is swift and comforting.

Enable charities and all those helping in these regions to be equipped with all they need to help.

We pray for our own Marian families who have friends and relatives in these regions.
