Knox Division AFL Girls Championships

We wish our AFL Girls team the very best as they compete at the Knox Division AFL Girls Championships on Thursday 8th June at Kings Park Reserve, Upper Ferntree Gully. A fixture of the day will be sent to all parents through an Operoo email message once they have been finalised by the Knox Division organisers.

On the morning of Thursday 8th June, we ask all players to be at school by 8:20am and to meet at the school atrium. This will allow time for our girls to change into their St Simon football jersey worn underneath their sport uniform, white shorts and football socks if supplied.

We ask all parents to ensure payment for your child to play is done before the day of the girls championships. Payment for the event will be electronically through CDF Pay. Please pay this by selecting the Interschool Sport tab and the tab labelled "AFL Girls Football"

COMMUNITY SPORTING ACHIEVEMENT

Recently, one of our Year 6 boys, Jacob Taylor, who is part of the Eastern Athletics representative baseball team participated in the Victorian State Baseball Championships.

His team was very successful and won their grand final which advances them to the Australian Little League Championships in Sydney this week. This high level of competition will be a challenge for Jacob and his team and we wish him the best of luck this week as he strives to be victorious. Hopefully their efforts progress them to the international level with the World Little League Series.
