Leura Gardens Festival, 2nd to 11th October, 2021

We are seeking Expressions of Interest for volunteers to attend the gates of ten Open Gardens at this year's Leura Gardens Festival.

Each volunteer will be required to join two senior supervising volunteers from the Leura Festival Organising Committee on various gates, greeting and assisting visitors as they arrive at each garden.

Leura Gardens Festival is a registered charity, entirely run by local volunteers. For the past 56 years it has been raising much needed funds for the Blue Mountains District ANZAC Memorial Hospital and local health related organisations.

If you would like to be part of the continuing success of the Leura Gardens Festival, any BMGS student aged 15 years or older is invited to complete a separate Expression of Interest form (see below).  A  formal letter and membership application form will then be emailed to you in late July, outlining all details for the Festival. You will be able to nominate your preferred dates, morning (9.30am – 1:00pm) or afternoon (1:00pm – 4.30pm) shifts and the maximum number of shifts that suit you over the six day Festival (two 3 day weekends).

Your volunteer hours will count towards your School Service hours and, if applicable, may also be applied to the Service element of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award.

If you are interested in volunteering for one or more , please complete the Expressions of Interest form below, and return to Coorah Reception by 25th June.
