School Events 

Athletics Carnival

It was a beautiful sunny day for our Athletics Carnival on Monday the 10th of March. It was great to see so many students participate in the variety of events. Some participating in all the events!

The carnival would have not been as successful without the help of our Year 11 student helpers who prepared the pitches after each attempt, marked and measured records and demonstrated techniques for competing students.  

A huge thank you to the Year 11 and 12 Hospitality team who went around, delivered coffees and morning tea to all the staff on the fields. They also did a marvelous job at making chicken pesto, Hawaiian and vegetarian pizzas from scratch to cater for all the busy staff for lunch. 

Year 12 students on the BBQ serving up delicious sausage sizzles did a wonderful job catering for their peers. They sold out of sausage sizzles way before the end of the day! 

A huge congratulations to the following students for placing 1st and 2nd in their events. They will be representing Evans High School at the Zone Athletics Carnival! Good luck everyone!
