Providing a caring environment where aspirations are nurtured, positive relationships grow, success is celebrated and a passion for lifelong learning is ignited.

Nurture. Innovate. Celebrate.

Dear Students, Parents, Carers and Families,

Welcome back

Thank you for all your support over the past two weeks of remote online and flexible learning from home.

It is such a relief to again have our community around us, with students once again learning together. What a refreshing sight it was to see the student’s enthusiasm and smiles upon returning to onsite learning. The buzz was evident as students reconnected face to face with their friends and peers. Although as adults we still need to remain distanced and masked, it is wonderful to see you all within the school gates once again.  Students never cease to impress us with their adaptability. The students’ enthusiasm has been infectious, they support any of their peers who were feeling a little apprehensive. Their morning rating was high today as they were back together again learning in the classroom. Yard Duty has been a joy, watching the students back together again playing, enjoying the fresh air and space

ENROLMENTS FOR 2022

Enrolments are now being taken for 2022. Parents who are aware of friends, neighbours or relatives who have a child ready to start school in 2022, please let them know that enrolments are now being taken. As in previous years, Mr Wallace and I are also available to answer questions of interested parents and students about our school.

Reconciliation Week Artwork

Our first week of remote learning coincided with Reconciliation Week. Each year level completed tasks inspired by Indigenous artists and reflected on reconciliation as an important part of our story as Australians.

Their artworks complimented their other online lessons, where they also looked at Indigenous music and storytelling. Our Maramba Primary students did a fantastic job creating their own pieces of art, while being respectful and informed about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures. All of our students should be very proud of the work that they created and I encourage them to continue to show the resilience that we saw during this difficult time. I hope the creativity in their specialist classes brought you all some joy.
