School Sports Victoria Year 11/12 Winter Sports Day

On Tuesday 18 May, students from Years 11 and 12 represented Aitken College in the School Sports Victoria Woodlands Division. The students enjoyed a competitive day where they achieved some great results while competing against schools within the Hume City Council area. Results were:

A very successful day for Aitken with one team progressing through to the Northern Metropolitan Region Finals. Congratulations to the Boys Soccer team who have progressed to the next round on Wednesday 28 July. Next up will be sports in Term 3 for the Year 11 and Year 12 students.

Cumberland Athletics Carnival

We all enjoyed a wonderful, sunny day together at Meadowglen International Athletics Stadium on Wednesday 19 May. All students demonstrated their sportsmanship, athleticism and team skills! A special thank you to our Physical Education department and Brookhill leaders for such a well co-ordinated program, and the many staff and helpers who came together to ensure the day was set up so efficiently and ran very smoothly.
