The Resource Centre is bustling at recess and lunch breaks with many students taking the opportunity to play card games including UNO and UNO Flip as well as chess, Cluedo and Pictionary. Jigsaw puzzles are also being constructed and card making is being undertaken as well as quiet reading and Senior study tutorials. 

A new collection of books has arrived including the series: Wings of Fire by Tui T. Sutherland, One of Us by Karen M. McManus and more Anh Do Hot Dog titles. New single titles are also available for borrowing including: Captain Underpants by Dav Pilkey, The Time Traveller’s Wife by Audrey Niffenegger, Beetle Boy by M.G Leonard, The Milly-Molly-Mandy Story Book by J.L Brisley and two books by Alan Tucker: The Bombing of Darwin and Gallipoli.

A second email notification will be sent this week to students who still have outstanding library and textbooks from 2019. This is to give a further opportunity to return the books before accounts are sent for the cost of the book/s to be replaced. Also, an e-mail reminder will be sent to those students who have overdue books this year to return them as soon as possible. Should there be a problem in being able to return any books, please contact the Resource Centre Staff in order that the situation can be quickly resolved.
