Year 8 Performances

On Wednesday the 1st July, our Year 8 Music classes presented their songs that they have been working on since returning to school after the COVID 19 lockdown. Each student was required to form a band with their peers and learn to play a song on an instrument of their choice. This song was then to be played before the rest of the year. 

This semester, students selected a great variety of repertoire including hit songs by Queen, the Dixie Chicks and AC/DC and performed some interesting arrangements of these songs. Understandably, there were quite a few nerves flowing about the room, but students presented themselves in a fantastic manner.
