This year's entrants were:

  • Harrison Lowe - Deep Blue Sea
  • Arwen Hughes - My Ocean Adventure
  • Trevin Tirikawala - Electromagnetism
  • Austin Puddy  - Life In The Deep Ocean
  • Harper Smith - My Ocean Cleaning Device
  • Ryan Tseng - Maglev Train

These students used their strengths of creativity, perseverance and their love of learning to produce outstanding pieces of work.

Also thanks the the parents of these students for supporting their efforts, and to Mrs Moon for coordinating the entries.

The Science Talent Competition is held every year and run by Science Victoria. Students from grades 3-6 have the opportunity to enter as either an individual or a pair and there is a small registration fee each year. There are a range of categories and students are given a theme, this year it was 'Deep Blue: innovations for the future of our oceans'.  We encourage all students to think about entering next year and developing their love of STEM!

Please note that Science Week is coming up (the week beginning the 15th of August) and so students will have a link to an interactive bitmoji classroom posted in their Google Classroom as a portal to Science activities and information.  Thanks to Mrs Moon for putting it together!
