Well-being

SWPBS During Home Learning

Last week Mrs Bosomworth reported that students had been working with their teachers to create a Home Learning Matrix  to outline how students can demonstrate our school values at home during remote learning.

Below are two links to a Home Learning Behaviour Matrix for Foundation - Year 2 and one for Year 3 - 6. We encourage you to discuss as a family how you could utilize these posters to acknowledge students demonstrating our school values.

Students, if you are spotted demonstrating our school values at home and would like to receive a 'Value Card' virtually from Mrs Rouda and myself, check out this awesome Google Slide Mrs Green made. Just click on our picture and we will award you with a virtual card and encouraging message.

To enable the link to work, you will need to click on the link below instead of clicking on the image:

The idea behind the Bucket Filler theory is that each interaction with another person is a chance to build wellbeing. The theory developed by Clifton and Rath is that people have an invisible bucket and that by doing something kind for someone,  you not only fill their bucket but your own too!

Please email nominations to me via Compass or students can pass on to their teacher.

Assistant Principal
