Junk Art

After learning about the artwork of Russian assemblage artist, Louise Nevelson, students were asked to collect everyday items from home and arrange them onto cardboard. When we returned to the classroom, students glued down their objects, before painting them gold, to emphasise form and value.

Each artwork was then combined to create this wonderful collage! Main Picture

Isolation Journal

Students were also asked to keep an Isolation Journal during online learning, which was the inspiration for another collaborative artwork, “Iso-Art”. Each student came up with their own interpretation of “isolation”, and once again combined their powers, resulting in these impressive artworks!
