Students of the Week

Congratulations to the following students who were awarded Student of the week this week and last week. All certificates will be mailed out to our students. The following people will need to keep an eye out for the postie. 

 

*Prep A Lorelai M - for showing great determination to read and write. You have done an awesome job. You are writing great little stories and reading longer books with accuracy. I really like the way you never give up and use many reading strategies to work out the words. You are doing an amazing job with Onsite Learning and I am so proud of you.

Jaiden Barker - for always trying your best. You are really making great gains with all your school work. When we were at school, you were doing a great job listening and trying hard to follow instructions. I know you will keep up the great work now we are Home Learning. Continue being a super star, Jaiden.

 

*Prep B -  Sabryna C - forTrying her best at school and during home learning. She knows all her sounds and her writing. Well done Sabryna! Keep up the great work.

Indi T -  for working hard and trying her best at school. She is becoming a more confident writer and is giving everything a red hot go. Well done Indi.

 

*1/2A - Ashley L – for making a fantastic start at Echuca Twin Rivers School. It was great to see you arrive at school every morning with a huge smile on your face ready to start your day of learning. It is also terrific to see you now on Webex meetings during Remote Learning 2.0.

Sierra M – for a fantastic effort in all areas of school. It is terrific to see you joining in Webex meetings during Remote Learning 2.0 and sharing your wonderful work samples with me on Class Dojo. Keep up the excellent effort.

 

*1/2B - Finn M – For being a very engaged and enthusiastic member during remote learning already.  You are submitting great work every day and it is wonderful to see you attending our Webex meetings. You are a superstar! Well done Finn!

Kate L – For your fantastic work during the first 2 weeks of remote learning. I have really enjoyed seeing the work you submit every day and your wonderful reading videos. Keep up the great work! Well done Kate!

 

*1/2C -  Lilly T - Lilly, you have such a positive, can do attitude towards your learning and always take on feedback to improve yourself. You are doing an amazing job with your writing at the moment and thinking about vocabulary that brings your stories to life for the reader. I love that you are now just using one finger space and rereading your work for greater accuracy with your spelling and punctuation.

Keep up your fabulous learning efforts. I’m so proud of you.

Jkhia P- Jkhia, you are really starting to zoom along with your maths now and have become quite the young Mathematician this term. I love seeing how enthusiastic you are in our math lessons and hearing your positive words about yourself when it comes to your great love of all things maths!  Keep up your terrific efforts. Maths Rocks!

 

 

*3/4 A - Ashton F - For his enthusiasm during Reading Intervention, willingness to participate in all sessions and positive attitude towards learning new skills.

Pryce M – for being a responsible learner at home during our first full week of Remote Learning 2.0. Well done on being organised and flexible with your school day and sharing your work.

 

*3/4B - Zariah Mc - for producing a published story about a bear. Zariah it was awesome to see the amount of effort you put into the details. Your presentation of the book was excellent. Keep up the great work.

Jesse M  -for having a great week with his fractions work at school. Jesse it was great to see you working with sixths when modelling your fraction sizes. Keep up the great work.

 

*3/4C -  Lyla H - Lyla you displayed amazing independence during maths this week. You made a tough decision to work independently during our challenging fraction work. You accurately displayed a number line depicting ‘Fifths’ that extended into mixed numbers. To extend your knowledge of fractions and work with a collection of tokes was outstanding. Keep up the hard work.

Anna M - Anna, you are quickly growing as a young mathematician. You led the way during our fraction work on Wednesday and produced an excellently displayed number line of various fractions using unifix. To witness the way you spaced each fraction on the number line with millimetre accuracy was outstanding.

 

*5/6A -  Jack M- Jack I am so pleased with the positive attitude you display towards learning. You have taken on the challenge classroom with such confidence and resilience, demonstrating that hard work is the key to success. Fantastic effort!

Kallum  - I am so impressed with the effort you have been giving in all areas of your learning. I have noticed you grow in confidence in maths and you are challenging yourself to complete more each day. Keep up the great work!  

 

*5/6B -  Dave L - For a fantastic start back into Remote Learning 2.0. You have asked questions regarding your learning and continue to upload your work, even a fantastic comic for writing which was so funny. Keep up the amazing work Dave!

Trent W - for continuing his hard work in Remote Learning. It has been fantastic to see you really apply yourself to your work and upload all of the pieces needed on to Dojo. Keep up the fantastic work!

 

*5/6C -   Nikita G - You have really stepped it up this term. It has been so great to see you organised and ready to learn each day. You have written an amazing narrative, joining multiple short stories together and using such beautiful and descriptive language. Great work!

Jane F - For transitioning into Remote Learning and completing some outstanding work. Your biography about your Grandfather was sensational. He would be so proud. Great work!

 

*Art -  Declan M - What a wonderful Pete Cromer collage you have created of Wally the Westerns Plains Wanderer! I love the way you worked so carefully to cut out shapes and make your art work. I’m sure Pete Cromer would be as proud as I am! 

Jack R - for working diligently and carefully on your self portrait. You have demonstrated exceptional drawing skills and applied vibrant colour. I cannot wait to see your completed art work!  

 

*Music/Indonesian -  Chris S -  for joining in the singing group at school with so much enthusiasm. It is lovely to see you enjoy music.

Lillie M -  for jumping straight into remote learning. I loved the video you sent in of you singing. Well done and thank you.

 

*PE -  Georgia Mc, Brydee B, Sky R, Rhianne G and Reign G  - for working as a team to create one of the biggest obstacle courses I've ever seen. It was great to see you using this to practise movement skills such as balancing, jumping, throwing and running.

For every 50 nights of reading that a student  completes, a certificate of achievement and a  new book will be awarded for their effort. Keep up the nightly reading everyone and don't forget to upload it to Class Dojo so your teacher can see how many nights you've read.
