5/6 Sovereign Hill Excursion

Sovereign Hill

On Tuesday the 6th of June, all the year 5/6s went on a day trip to Sovereign Hill as part of our inquiry unit, Museums in Motion. We did a variety of activities such as gold panning, acting out the Eureka rebellion and watching the process of sweet making. We also went on a tour underground and watched gold being melted.

Everyone had a great day and lots of fun, even though the weather was very cold and at times raining. We were very grateful for the few times of sunshine.
