Out Of School Hours Care

OSHC News

OSHC News Wednesday 27th, 2017

OSHC Program: During the past two weeks our focus has transitioned from ‘Out of this World’ to ‘Countries and Cultures’. The children thoroughly enjoyed making a variety of outer space craft with their favourites being the galaxy cookies and building space ships out of construction materials.

During this week we have transitioned into Australian culture where the children have taken part in decorating boomerangs, dot painting and creating fairy bread. These activities aim to foster children’s creativity and encourage thought development and understanding of Australian culture in our modern society.

Our OSHC garden continues to flourish and the children have particularly enjoyed being able to harvest some of our veggies and sell them to parents. We encourage families to look at our OSHC book for photos of what your children have been up to!
