2017 Community Night Poster Competition

The LNPS Community Night is being held on Thursday 9th November. Come along and join us for a night showcasing 'Critical and Creative Thinking through STEM'. 

We would like our students to unleash their inner creativity and design the Community Night poster which will be used as the poster for advertising the event. Attached is the advertising poster for the competition and student competition entry slip which outlines the success criteria.

Families are encouraged to begin having discussions or dialogue about what the poster might entail. The students will need to briefly explain how their poster represents

Critical and Creative Thinking

through STEM.

The poster competition will run from Monday 25th September until Friday 20th October. The winner will be announced on Monday 23rd October.

All the relevant information about the competition is available from the Front Office.

Remind your child/ren that this is about THEM designing the poster. They can discuss their design ideas with an adult to receive feedback, however the poster must be designed and created solely by them.

The panel will only accept ONE POSTER ENTRY PER STUDENT. 

The poster competition was a great success last year and we are looking forward to seeing the innovative and creative posters students will submit.

Dates

The Governing Council has approved the following dates:

• Pupil Free Day on Monday 16th October. This will be the final PFD for 2017. Staff will be focussing on Strategic Planning.
• School Closure on Friday 10th November. This is following Community Night which will be held on Thursday 9th November.
