Kitchen Garden Update

Across the last 2 weeks the students have been busy in the kitchen garden and maintaining the school garden beds. Mulch has been spread by the Senior Students whilst the junior levels are doing a wonderful job of watering and caring for the chooks. The raised succulent beds are looking fantastic over at the Mudbrick, with the foliage spilling over the edge. In Term 1 the Senior Students cut back the herb garden, the new fresh growth will be great for using in the kitchen in the coming weeks. We will also have carrots, capsicum and kale that will be harvested from the wicking beds. A big shout out to Oscar and Leo for helping in the garden on Wednesday afternoon. They washed and prepared produce, made rosemary and rhubarb bunches and did a marvellous job of running the share table.
