MGC Parents’ Association

Term 1 saw the start of Coffee Catch Ups @ Mr. Coppin- Richmond, organised by the MGC Parents’ Association. Each catch up was well attended and feedback from the MGC community was that these catch ups should continue each term in 2022 and beyond, so they will! 

For term 2, we are trialling each catch up to take place on a Friday.  Specific dates are below: 

It was a sell out! The Parents Association’s first whole school social evening event for 2022, was held on the 5th of May at the Cherry Tree Hotel, in Cremorne. A fun night was had by all who attended. It was great to meet so many new members of our community and to catch up with old friends.  

The MGC Parents’ Association Is aiming to create fun, social events to foster connections between the parents and carers of MGC students. We intend to organise a variety or get togethers, that are free or reasonably priced. Each event will be aimed to allow the school community to come together, to make connections and feel involved in high school experience.  New ideas, opinions and suggestions are keenly sought, and all meetings are open to the whole community! 

Planning for more whole school and year level events is underway.

So…Why not pop along to the next Parents’ Association meeting?

 All new members are VERY welcome.

 Meetings are held in the staff room. Enter via the office entrance.
