Music Camp

This year’s music camp was a massive success! After a busy day at Athletics we all boarded the bus to a nice place near the Melbourne Zoo called Urban Camp. We put our stuff away and got ready for a short rehearsal for band or choir before dinner which was yum! Most people don’t like camp food but I think they did a good job. That night we had a movie night with popcorn and hot choccies! On Saturday, we rehearsed all day, with food breaks in between and also time to prepare for this year’s talent show! That afternoon we walked around the Royal Park before a pizza dinner. Then we finished the night off with some amazing acts in the talent show! The next morning, we got ready to leave and ended the weekend with a celebratory performance to our parents of what we had achieved. A huge thank you to our music teachers, Tony Hicks, Andy Clarke, Susan de Jong, Ellyce Calder and a special thankyou to Anne Corry for organising the camp and making it all happen. Overall, it was super fun. Hope to see you there next year!
