Mama Mia

At the start of this term, MGC began rehearsals for our 2022 musical, Mamma Mia! We have been working on “Super Trooper”, “Lay All Your Love On Me”, “Dancing Queen”, “Mamma Mia” and so much more. Rehearsals run every Tuesday afterschool for Cast and the Year 7 and “Sophie’s Hens Night” Chorus (Years 8+) and afterschool Thursdays for the Cast. Specialist Dancers rehearse Thursday lunchtimes. We have been having so much fun, bonding and learning, preparing for a very exciting show to come! 

Thanks to Ms Corry, Ms Mumme, Ms McGeechan and Ellyce Calder, as well as our amazing student choreographers, Ash Parkinson, Sophie Hunter, Beth Pert, Amy Deller, Elodie Mumme and Nova Karikari. We’re all so excited to be off and running, hitting the ground running on the first day back of Term 2 and can’t wait for all that is to come!

Arts Boards

Please have a look at our lovely arts boards (located on both walls of the first landing of the stairwell in the main building, closest to performing arts center) for Mamma Mia updates, promotional photos, news regarding individual portfolios (dance, drama, music and visual arts). These will be constantly updating and changing, so keep a look out for those.
